  1. This god bullshit has gone on way too long!

The bullshit god created the heavens and the earth in just six days, and he is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, he knows all the things there is to know, before it happens, yet he knew Satan would disrupt heaven, and he knew that evil would take over the earth, and he had a man to build a boat and drowned all the inhabitants, and yet he knew the plan to flood the earth to rid it of all evil wouldn’t work.

But there was no one there to record such events, it’s all man made!

And this all knowing god commissioned a bunch of emotionally insane people to write a book about him and all that he has done in which no one has ever seen him, because he is invisible.

And this god loves the smell of burning flesh of animals and loves the shedding of blood!

And so one day after some 4000 years, this god decided it was time to sacrifice a human and let him take on all sins of the world and it was his son, his daughter just couldn’t handle the job! It’s because our souls are as filthy rags and the animals must pay through death too, although no animal has ever committed a sin.

And this god loves everybody, even murderer’s, rapists, child molesters, liars, cheaters, thieves, all get off scot-free except for those who do not believe in him!

And so now, we have people so gullible to believe in such ignorant bullshit, how can we put an end this madness??? I just do not know how much longer I can take it!!!!

  2. “I seems the misunderstanding you have about heaven and hell is the idea that you don’t think people deserve hell. For those who go to heaven it will be made clear why those who go to hell deserve to go there because they rejected their chance at having their sins forgiven and thus the only place left for them is hell. ”

What he is saying is that people deserve to burn and scorch and scream and writhe and thrash around in horrible agony and live in utter despair and insanity for all of forever, for no other reason than that they didn’t believe in God. He believes that if people do something bad, the punishment should not fit the crime–it should far exceed the crime by a trillionfold, just because God was a little miffed that someone didn’t fall on their knees and kiss his ass.

“The thing is you are confusing the feelings you have for your relatives now because you are seeing them from your point of view. For those of us who do end up in heaven we will see things from God’s point of view. ”

In other words, the love you feel for your parents, siblings, best friends, relatives, and children, will amount to absolutely nothing. The times you shared, the struggles you endured, the problems you overcame, the joy, the laughter, the heartache, the anger, the fun times, nothing will matter anymore, it will all be swept away and you will view these people with all the clinical sterility of a lab assistant observing a rat in a cage. Is that really how Ron WANTS to see his loved ones? Will he really be able to pretend he never felt any love for any of them? Will he really be able to stand by and feel no pain, sorrow, or heartache when his best friend in the world, who just happened to be an agnostic, is tossed into the ever-burning flames of hell with no more feeling than one would have in throwing a log on the campfire?

I really doubt that Ron has thought this through. He just believes whatever his pastor has told him. Maybe it is the only comfort he has–after all, there can’t be much comfort in a religion that teaches you that your loved ones will suffer forever in hell if they don’t believe in God. If you’re a preacher, you need some way to justify condemning basically good people to eternal torture. You also need some way to make it so that the people up in heaven won’t feel sad about their friends and relatives going to hell. So you tell the pew-warmers that when they get to heaven, they’ll have the mind of God–cold and emotionless, so that they will not be capable of feeling pain.

And they wonder why some of us reject their religion.

  3. One thing I noticed about Neff, he sure knows the mind of his deity. I often wonder why god says so many contradictory things to so many different people and why she allows some to get rich from what she tells them.

    I am curious about what:

“I do not declare what was written because of my own knowledge or righteousness but by that which is imputed unto me. I can tell you with all assurance about eternity because of Him who has reveled it to me.”

means. If HIM told you about it, or imputed it, doesn’t that mean you have knowledge of this: “Worship me or die!” policy? Are you sure “imputed” is the word you wanted to use?

With only his two emails to guide me, so I may be wrong, I think Neff was picked on when he was young and instead of growing up and forgetting it, he eagerly awaits the schadenfreude of watching those who were mean to him burning in hell while he gets the last laugh. I sincerely hope he is able to grow up and free himself from these ugly superstitions, especially those he uses for his perverse fantasy life.

Neff, let your imaginary thunder god think his own imaginary thoughts.

Ron, please, for the sake of humanity, whom you owe more allegiance to than a has been thunder god, help your fellow humans instead of condemning them. People are much too prone to violence without religion egging them on.

  4. “Bob God has made himself evident to all people in their conscious ”

I want to meet this “Bob God”!!

  5. “[That’s] astoundingly convenient for you. Wouldn’t you say?”

… ie, that’s “make-believe”. One of the reasons I so like the hate mail section is not so much for the hate mail itself, but rather for the countless – and effective – ways that Bob can phrase and rephrase what is essentially that same, very simple message: that they are just wallowing in wishful thinking. Every time I stumble upon a gem like the one quoted above, I’m reminded of a book I read a few years ago, “Le bon sens du curé Meslier”, by the Baron d’Holbach (don’t worry, I found an English translation here: http://www.ftarchives.net/holbach/good/gcontents.htm ), written in… 1772… As the title implies, it was inspired by the writings of Jean Meslier (1664-1729), a catholic priest who became an atheist, but who remained in office until his death, for reasons all too obvious. It’s a rather lengthy book, in which both religion and the concept of a god are literally blown to smithereens, with the help of so many logical and clear arguments that one can’t help but feel that going through them all would be superfluous. 1772!!! And written by a baron, no less! This book could have been the ultimate weapon… and yet…

Incidentally, the Wikipedia article on Jean Meslier led me to a list of atheists (also on Wiki), which has caused me no end of amazement. I was floored by the number of CULTURAL ICONS that are on this list. So, according to believers, these people are destined to – or are already in – Hell!

(From the top of my head:)

    – Ernest Hemingway
    – Thomas Edison
    – Danny Elfman
    – Hector Berlioz
    – Roger Waters
    – Robert Altman
    – John Huston
    – Julianne Moore
    – Burt Lancaster
    – CHARLIE CHAPLIN, for f…’s sake!!!
    – Stanley Kubrick
    – Lance Armstrong
    – Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie
    – Larry King
    – Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka!… nooooooooooo!!!)

…and so many others, and certainly so many that haven’t yet been added to the list, and all those that we’ll never know about. Oh! Can you feel the hypocrisy! The hypocrisy, I’m tellin’ ya!

  6. One thing that has always tickled me about “Christians” is their incessant need to criticize science and all of its teachings. They’re loathe to admit that science is correct, unless it suits their purpose. They’ll decry evolution from the rooftops, and in the same breath, claim a scientist as one of their own in a pathetic attempt to rationalize their beliefs.

Sorry, “Christians,” but you can’t have your cake and eat it too. If you hate science so much, if you feel so threatened by science, then stop using cell phones, cars, medical technology, and the computers that allow you to spout off idiotic hate mail. You should be living in a cave with no access to any of the technology brought to you by science.

Also, check this gem out: http://minnesotaindependent.com/58393/gop-linked-punk-rock-ministry-says-executing-gays-is-moral

This “punk rock” ministry for Christ is seriously claiming that it is perfectly moral to kill homosexuals. I’m thoroughly disgusted with these fucking lunatics. The worst part about this is that they are being backed up and even funded by the Republican party. Christians and Republicans just need to be wiped off the face of the earth.

I can’t wait until ALL religion is wiped from the face of the earth.

  7. I am constantly astounded by the heinously immoral logic of these people who try to excuse their love of torture.

Yes, torture. Just because one SAYS eternal torment is not torture doesn’t mean it is NOT. Is he trying to say “it’s not that bad?”

He’s clever enough to compare the American justice system to what he interprets is God’s. He points out that the idea of “All men are created equal” is a farce to most of us, who accept the notion that the more power a victim has, the worse the punishment should be to the individual who harmed him. Which is just like God, right? If you sin against a MERE BABY, the punishment should be mere, right? If you sin against THE PRESIDENT, why you should be PUT TO DEATH! HUZZAH!

I’m assuming your friend Rob must not be a Christian, for most of them remind me that Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.” Actually, that was a parable, and “Bob” knows what it really meant since Jesus didn’t want the non-disciple rabble to know, but the sentiment as it stands seems to contradict Rob’s “logic” just a bit, no?

So I can help Rob by pointing out that it doesn’t matter who you do the sin to–God says that all sins are against God no matter what. So everything we do means we deserve to burn, but it’s only after we die that we will understand why God is such a Goddamned heartless Beast. No matter where we “go” after we die, we will know, therefore you should believe every word Ron says because Pascal yadda yadda yadda. So his argument that since the sin is against God, not a lowly poor unemployed brown person or whoever, means it has to be a big punishment, is bullpucky according to Jesus.

And it’s bullpucky according to Hellbound Alleee, because if something is true, it’s true, regardless of how rich and powerful you are. Is an action that’s immoral for a poor person become moral when he wins the lottery? Does having more money or power make a lie the truth? Because if you believe this, you’re a Christian, apparently.

And that’s what’s wrong with people.

  8. “I think Neff was picked on when he was young and instead of growing up and forgetting it, he eagerly awaits the schadenfreude of watching those who were mean to him burning in hell while he gets the last laugh. ”

This is exactly what hell is all about, Gilgamesh. It appeals to the base human desire for revenge against all the people who did us wrong. People do bad things, and sometimes they get away with it. Playground bullies don’t get caught, and criminals go free or get off with a much lighter sentence than they deserve. Nobody likes it when the bad guys don’t get punished, so it’s nice (for some, at least) to imagine that someday, they’re gonna git what’s comin’ to ’em–if not in this life, then in the afterlife. Hell is a childish notion for childish people.

  9. Angry Human said, “Christians and Republicans just need to be wiped off the face of the earth.”

So true, it’s such a shame that people need a reality check and shocked into non-belief for them to see how stupid they are for believing in 2000 year old nonsense.

I think all forms of politics and all religions should be banned also, they both serve no purpose, except to continually deceive and manipulate public opinion.

  10. Aaron, I thought you did meet God at the beginning of Exodus? Different aaron maybe, although people back then lived for centuries, so I figured it may have been you. My bad;)
So, Ron is very confused it seems; he compared hitting a real man tohitting a sky firy tale. LOL that IS funny anyway! Like comparing hitting a live man to hitting Yoda, although with ‘the force’, Yoda is way to fast to actually hit.
    I’m just sayin.
Please, Bob, don’t tell me Yoda is not real too! I know he is because A) I read about him in a book. He’s old, like Abraham was. And B) I have faith! Land faith beats an ace of spades buddy)
