Hate-ish mail, The Salvatore Siciliano files

So the previous page of hate mail was dedicated to haters who didn’t reply after I retorted their initial comments, then Salvatore Siciliano went and replied several times, which earned him a page of his own! So I removed his letters off that page and posted them on this new one! Which also led me to replacing his letters on the previous page with a new haters letter who never responded back. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy whichever page you’re on.

  1. Let me get this straight…Jesus loves everybody, but if you do not believe in him, he will send you to hell???

There’s probably about 5 billion people living on this planet who do not believe in jeebus are they going to hell too?

At least we heathen will not be alone!

Where’s all that divine love, jeebus??

  2. Having the displeasure of being a former fundie myself, I feel nothing but pity for how deluded these people really are. I remember when I used to spew this very same inane and nonsensical garbage all of the time. Thankfully I have been an atheist for the last 15 years and the only regret I have is having wasted four years of my life as an evangelist promulgating a 2000 year old myth.

  3. Why is it that Christians think that all they have to say is “Jesus loves you” and we atheists will be all like, “Oh really? Wow, I’ve never thought of it like that before, I guess I should accept Jesus as my lord and savior and start going to church and hating gays. Praise Jesus, I’m going to sit at the right hand of God in heaven, halleluah!”

No, to me it’s more like someone saying, “Bigfoot loves you.” They’re both mythical creatures, there’s no solid evidence that either one of them really exists or existed, and if Jesus ever really did exist he died 2000 years ago and is not coming back. So even if fundies really believe Jesus is flying around heaven monitoring every aspect of our lives and really does love us even though we don’t believe in him, trying to convince us in this manner really falls flat.
